i got all the alternatives, just i had a grilled plaice and a tin of chilli eel (from the Asian supermarket), so it was just over load with fish, but at the time i was starving so i ate it all, then didnt really wait till i had my sugar treats...

i was considering getting some small cartons of long life milk to put at work, and also maybe some of those CNP protein flapjack things just as emergency post gym food (usual if i plan ahead i make 3 wholemeal baps with cottage cheese/tuna/chicken/PB etc..but this time a) i had already preped my lunch in the form of tuna pasta b) had no packet of cereal out. Had a lady i work with buy us all donuts after lunch so i had to have one, otherwise people start thinking you dont sociallise! (not that one has to force down fried bread with jam syringed into the middle.

Got chicken wings tonight (hopefully i wont eat too much of the skin! )

next workout should be Saturday, more full bored 110% as i'm feeling slightly better, free of head aches and just finished my course of anti-biotics.

first "real" workout since i've been ill..

10mins Rowing warmup
-squat- just bar/7/6
-pullover- 10kg/7/5
-bench- DB 10kg 7/5

-DL- just bar/7/3!
-1-arm Bor-8kg/12/8

-Shoulder raises-4kg/10

!Failed on second set of Deads, and i didnt wanna push my back and screw my form up.

-Chins 5/3
-tricep pulls 11.25/10
-cable chop 8.75/8

(all the exercises in a cluster are done in circuit stylee i.e. squat/pull/bench etc) 4/4 timing where possible!

Diet- just had bagel 1/2 with banana and honey, 1/2 cheese. and some cereal milk.

weight in tomorow but i'm roughly around 55-56kg so a bit of a gain now that i can open my mouth and chew stuff without pain!

Glad you've put the weight back on - now work hard on putting more on and keep eating! You need to find some good, calorie dense foods that will add loads of calories without filling you up too much. Croissants are a good start :P

Just added a photo, was down the gym this morning checking out the spa, it was all dark and "mood" lighting, and since i wasnt wearing either contacts (cos i was swimming) nor took my glasses from my locker i was walking around like a blind man with nose right up against signs saying "sauna", "spa". I think it was all nice, next time will have to take specs!

Scales - 55.8Kg

up a few grams. I havent been to gym since saturday as i feel i'm getting another cold! so might go tomorow. But i think i may have been overtraining last week especially since my week off with my throat infection. I went Tues/Thrus/sat, then did a swim and played golf on Sun....so i think i've been pushing my body and immune system too much and not allowing recovery.

Diet is ok. getting addicted to those fujji milkshakes since tesco has them as BOGOF, been dipping oatibix in them, and malt loaf to make chocolate bread...however i did manage to drink with my cereal some gone off milk this AM, it smelled ok but it wasnt until i noticed that the porridge and alpen had formed a precipitate with the milk that i decide to bin...so hope my stomach can cope with that!

55kg...? Is that all you weigh...?

I know I'm no heavyweight at 81kg but 55 seems very low, personally I would be on 2 or 3 protein / meal replacement shakes and my normal meals every day.. You must be able to gain weight..??? I'm no expert but I really do think you can gain some good weight and fairly handily?

Proper food Osc, proper food !

Big juicy steaks, lots of vegetables and potatoes.

You won't grow big on Oatibix, milk shakes and malt loaf !
