So we're heading towards the frantic Christmas rush, but what do you reckon will be big in the games world?
The old favourites, the DS and the Wii are bound to be in short supply as always. The 360 will no doubt do much better thanks to today's price trim, and the PS3 is a solid seller.
Games wise, there's lots to go for. For PC gamers there's the likes of Warhammer Online, Far Cry 2, Diablo 3, Red Alert 3, and the eventual release of GTA IV.
Looking at the PS3, Motorstorm and Resistance get brand new updates, and LittleBigPlanet is going to be huge. While the 360 has Gears of War 2 and Fable as the major exclusives. The Wii perhaps doesnt look quite as strong with Samba De Amiga, and Wario Land: Shake It! the biggest.
Multiformat wise there's tonnes. New Brothers In Arms, FIFA 09, Pro Evo 2009, new Call of Duty, Fallout 3, LEGO Batman and Dead Space.
Never too early to knock up a shopping list and get saving! Brothers In Arms, Gears of War 2 and LittleBigPlanet are the big three for me this time. And the first one of those I should recieve very soon indeed ;-)
The new Prince of Persia get's released on the 5th December apparently, although I feel Ubi may have killed the series off with Warrior Within and Two Thrones (although TTT was better than WW, the quick kill could system have been executed better to save a lot of frustration on the player's part) so it probably wont do as well as it maybe should.

Seen the trailer? An Ubi Soft rep showed me a cracking one a few weeks back, and the art style is just incredible.
