I get cashback and buy everything I possibly can using my credit card. Don't forget it also covers you for insurance as well, can't remember how much up to.

The last thing I used it for was a hotel booking I think!
I don't really use it. It's a slippery slope for me. Even if I put stuff on it for 'cash back' I'd get to a point where I was skint and then wouldn't pay it all off every month.
I had to take out a loan to cover around £5k worth of credit card debt, built up over about 5 years. I just kept shifting it from 0% card to 0% card. In the end I thought enoughs enough and I took out a loan to pay it all off and vowed not to use it again. It's been nearly a year!
