Anyone else here managed to find their way onto the closed LittleBigPlanet beta currently on the go? Rumours are that it will open up to be a fully fledged public beta a week before the October 24th launch, but at the the moment its strictly invite only.
I've been on board for the last few days, so if anyone has any questions, I'll do my best to answer. Remember this is a few months old build of the game however and a number of features are missing!
I'll try and knock up some basic 'thoughts' later today.

A few quick notes then, as the emails a little slow this morning!
- The introduction to the game before you head online is fantastic. All is practical, and fantastically narated by Stephen Fry.
- It's certainly a bit of a looker.
- Online, there are already a LOT of levels, and little differentiate between them. This SHOULD be combated by the promised rating system that will be available in the full game. At the moment its a struggle to notice the stunningly designed levels from all the dross that people have swiftly knocked up.
- There are some REALLY talented design folk out there. Safe to say that come full release we'll have to keep a list of all the levels you need to see in a forum thread. And pimp our own levels too ;-)
- Folk are happy to jump in and out of levels with you, and if you're the leader, the group can follow you around. All works nice and speedily.
- The physics are fantastic. Makes levels that could be pretty sub-par turn into something that's cracking fun.
I'm yet to design a full scale level myself, but the word is that to create something that others might actuall wish to play, you're looking at a good half dozen hours of game time. That's assuming you want to make something that others might enjoy anyway.
