Last night my date with Nate left me feeling used and abused! Managed 7 rounds in the 20 mins. I am not sure how heavy my sandbag is so will have to weight it to compare to the weights I should be using,

I thought the usual sub for muscle-up is pullups and dips (can't remember how many, maybe 4 of each). Nate is supposed to be heavy on the strength element.
Yes it is supposed to be but I don't have anywhere practical to use at the moment so had to make this one up. Next time it comes up I should have somewhere to do my pullups and dips
Tuesday:
With a continuously running clock do one 135 pound Clean and Jerk the first minute, two 135 pound Clean and Jerks the second minute, three 135 pound Clean and Jerks the third minute... continuing as long as you are able.
Tuesdays workout wasn't great. Didn't really get much out of the planned workout so worked on my technique instead as I am sure it is a bit ropey

Barbara beat me last night....what a bitch.
After Gregs suggestion, I replaced the pull ups with Sumo D/L high pulls using 26.5k.
Round 1: 6:42
Round 2: forgot to start my watch!
Round 3: 7:28
Round 4: 8:10 - although this ended up with some of the push ups being girly ones with me on my knees. :-(
I couldn't managed a 5th round.....I tried to make a start but just couldn't do any more.
I was working late last night so wasn't able to train....instead I got home and ate a ghome made mushroom lasagne. It was incredibly tasty although afterwards I checked the calorie content according to the recipe and it was about 700 per portion. problem was it was so nice I had a second helping.
I think I had best make sure I work hard in the gym tonight
I haven't trained so far this week. LMH has been poorly so spend the last couple of evenings when I get in dishing out lots of cuddles and not being able to leave the room!
On a brighter note, my VKR thing should be delivered today at last.
Vertical knee raise thingy-me-jig. with the pull up and dip bits on it as well so I can start doing (well trying to do ) some pull ups instead of subbing them for something else
