And for PP's benefit I did the entire thing in my socks, as my feet tend to hurt wearing trainers to do stuff like this.

Wow all of that in your socks?

That is interesting!!!

How on earth are you front squatting the same amount as your are deadlifting?!!

Good old olympic lifting there sounds good!!!
I think I can front squat about 40 kg too but can easily deadlift 80kg. No boasting intended mate.

Power cleans I found the technique hard my mate got them right away. I find the movement that is similar to a preacher curl the difficult part. Think flexible wrists would help in this one.

you shouldn't be using your biceps to lift the weight

You'll notice I used the same weight for each, and pyramided the reps down, the deadlift wasn't about going heavy. Squats were obviously to parallel :)

The prescribed weight was 60kg, which I can easily manage(my 5RM is 100), but I'd struggle to power clean 60kg 12 times, and I can only push jerk about 55kg for a few reps.

Strength day: 1-rep max chins

Greg: +32.5kg (need some bigger plates next time)
Ender: +20kg (new PB and he almost had 22.5)

We did some regular chins and works on overhead squat stuff, and ender tried the C&P workout, but he was hurting his wrist with it, so we stopped.

I have just seen what is coming up for you guys:

Five rounds for time of:
7 Muscle-ups
21 Burpees

Post time to comments.

Each burpee terminates with a jump one foot above max standing reach.

That is going to be nasty!

A useful site as well is brandx, which has scaled versions of each WOD. E.g. I did "The Pack" version of the clean and jerk workout (well figured it out by myself)

ender has done a crosdfit certification, which covered some of this. I've watched and researched lots of videos, and we coach each other.

Sounds good I love Olympic exercises but the technique is everything, I wish I had some sort of coach to teach me these things.
