I think I got the point of this wrong - I was thinking it was going to make playlists out of your existing music library, but what it does is promote other stuff for you to buy?
Is it genius, or just a genius money making scheme for Apple Inc?

I've read articles online saynig it's pants at the moment, the music it recommends is completely unsuitable because it hasn't acquired enough user data to make recommendations. Will take a few months before it is of any use.

Tried using the Genius function for swift 25 track playlists on the fly on the iPhone thanks to selecting one track. Shame that it usually plumps for 15 of the same tracks every single time, no matter what I initially choose.
