Fooks sakes!

I do worry about those guys - they look like they are one move away from a mischief.

Did I see JT5 wander past with a bag at one point? :-D

every minute on the minute:
- 5 deadlifts
- 5 hang power cleans
- 5 thrusters
you stop when you can't do it in the prescribed minute,

though I think a workout like this might be a bit better (all the same weight)
- 75 deadlifts
- 75 hang power cleans
- 75 thrusters
for time, grouped together any way you like.

That looks like a great workout as does the Bear. When are you planning on fitting that one in Greg? I think it is going to be a long time before I try that one

I read that. Are you taking a few days off then to recover so you can work at 100%

more technique and strength work. I did another 5k run yesterday, but it felt a bit rubbish despite being a faster time.

How does this crossfit malarkey fit into the theory that exercise should be tailored to the needs and goals of the trainee?

If everyone is doing the same workout, does it not assume that everyone is the same ?

the workouts are scaled, by what how strong/fit your are and by what equipment is available.

Crossfit trains you for the following domains:
- cardiovascular/respiratory endurance
- stamina
- strength
- flexibility
- power
- speed
- agility
- balance
- coordination
- accuracy

They aren't tailored for a specific sport, but are applicable to all, the goal is all-round fitness across a broad domain. It won't make your a medal winning ultra-marathon runner, but somebody like that probably wouldn't be very strong.
