I've trained in karate, jiu jitsu and kendo, but mainly (over 10 years up until injury) in Bujinkan Taijutsu... very interesting and was great, right up to the point when I could hardly move!!!
All my weight has appeared to centre itself right over my abs! They were there once, but they're very well hidden at the moment. I'm about medium build, but I need to badly move the gut and start to build on the shoulders, arms and back as well as the legs. Think I'll be trawling the fitness section for a while to come!

I know what dodgy knees feel like - I wore mine out jogging in my thirties and have to train round them now!
Abs are possible again - tiz all down to diet - start a training log and you'll get loads of help to support your goals.
