The Great British Beer Festival

Ahhh... a subject close to all our hearts. Roll up for quality pints at the Campaign for Real Ale's new website

Three cheers for the Great British Beer Festival website, launched to coincide with the festival of the same name running all this week at Earls Court in London.

Run by the Campaign for Real Ale, the site will guide you through the dizzying - literally - spectacle which sees Britain’s breweries, both large and small, display their wares on a scale surpassed only by Munich’s Oktoberfest.

With notes on tasting and guides to the week’s entertainment, the site will help you feel a little less like a novice when confronted by the hundreds of casks of ale and the thousands of very serious beer drinkers at the event.

Beards aren't compulsory by the way.
