Flickr

If you've not heard of this photo organising and sharing tool, give it a whirl...

Got piles of photos at home that you'd like to share with your friends, family and the world at large? Flickr is for you.

Your account is free and allows you to upload all your photos. So far, so humdrum.

But Flickr goes one better. You can send images to your gallery by email and upload cameraphone images to a blog. Plus all images are given a unique web address so sending them to a friend is simplicity itself.

Want more? Well, you can also batch edit your shots and organise them into sets, setting various permission levels as you go.

If your friends are also on Flickr, you can get a tip off the minute you've uploaded new images. Just imagine the hundreds of pages of holiday snaps to wade through :-)

All in all, a professional imaging tool that should be in everyone's bookmarks list.
