I shocked myself today, by having my plan of leaving work early at 4pm, and then heading straight to the gym. I was in the middle of something, and didn't leave til 4.30pm, and then thought the traffic would be horrendous, but it was not.
So.....off to the gym I went, I think the heat must have put people off as it wasn't even that busy, and before long I was sweating like a P.I.G! (Don't you just hate it when you finish a session, and your t-shirt is just stuck to your back, so you can't get it over your head :-/)
Had a pretty good sesh, no doubt exaccerbated by the sweat factor!
Deadlifts felt great, as I was getting nice and low, and managed 3 more reps, on the same weight as last time.
Cable crunch I upped the weight, and actually struggled towards the end of the third set.
Dips and chins - a mixed result: chins were good, and I added 2 reps over the 3 sets, chin ups were less good, and I did one less than last time.
For the DB side bends I added 2.5kg to the DBs and managed to get out a set of 8.
I have now got that satisfied feeling, from knowing that I have been, and had a decent workout :)
