I do want to lose weight, dont get me wrong; I guess its always been an issue with the diet. Even when my eating habits have changed I tend to always revert back to the easy option. Take outs etc. I dont smoke or drink lots. Eating is generally my thing. Boredom, stress, et al I eat lol.

I started exercise yesterday, I went for a 3 mile run and walked for about half of it over the period of the 40 minutes or so it took. Ache a bit this morning but will be on the bike and rowing machine later. Shins hurt a bit from the impact of running.

I have done a lot of soul searching over the last 24hrs and realise habits in the kitchen department need to change. I have stuck a pic of myself on the fridge, not flattering at all. Ive written down what im going to eat over the course of the week. I think if I plan in advance and only buy those foods im not going to eat take out. Something I have done before and it worked. Just need to stay focused on it.

I have also written down the foods I like, and those I dislike and will place them into good bad foods types. Im also going to buy some drinking chocolate to help with my cravings for chocolate. Tinned fruit instead of cake etc and smaller portions too. When you cook for one you always make way to much. Its time to buy some containers so I can freeze some of the things I make- again I hope this will steer me away from the take out and it will be quicker too.

I do want it, I have emailed my best friend a pic of me in speedo's lol. He is going to email everyone I know and prob some other people if I fall of the wagon. Beleive me I dont want that to happen. I have got a sneaky suspicion he will email everyone anyway but if I get in shape I wont care.

Thanks for the comments, really motivated me to try and change. Exactly what I needed to hear. Even if I prefer the idea of having my cake and eating it etc lol
