Hard to say unless we know what art it is and what he is teaching as well as the long term effects.
If it is a nerve surge like getting hit in the side of the jaw if you have a 'glass jaw' then there is no long term effect you just have your lights switched off. I am sure we have all been there. Well those of us who have studied the arts.
This looks like it may be Krav maga but I couldn't say.
Anyone else know more on this?
