That is all well and good if the people are all happy with the arrangement. Apple obviously isn't, hence all the threads.
If it wasn't a problem Apple wouldn't be posting about her problems. My point is not that what she is doing is wrong as such, but she does the same things then comes on here and moans about her problems when it is clearly her own fault.
This is a matey place.I think Apple came on here for matey advice or at least to share a crazy situation she found herself in. Probably looking for some banter or some ribbing and a sympathetic ear. Fair enough. Why should she be treated as if she’d just been diagnosed with lung cancer caused by her own smoking? I just think the reaction is out of proportion to the situation.
Let me give you a for instance. Years ago I had sex with a woman I had an occasional relationship with, the night before going on holiday with an ex. As a result I had a bite mark on my shoulder and claw marks down my back. The next morning, when I was due to fly, I rang around 3 mates to beg for advice on how to cover them up/explain them away or whatever. All of them had a laugh at my expense then turned their minds to helping me solve my problem. None of them got on their pompous high horses and started lecturing me about it being my fault, how they’d heard it all before, why was I boring them with the same thing over again about or any unmatey stuff like that.
Perhaps that was because they were mates rather than sanctimonious prigs. Or maybe it was because they had sex lives of their own and didn’t lead frigid bitter lives consumed with resentment that nobody found them attractive. Who knows? But I don’t think it is too much for someone to expect matiness, sympathy and understanding on a sex thread instead of Mary Whitehouse’s amen chorus. If it really is so dull and repetitive, let us not bore you any further: shove off to one of those highly varied threads about building muscle!
In my opinion the only reason Apple starts these threads is for people like you to come on and say 'oh it's ok, what you're doing is fine.' Thus Apple doesn't feel like a dirty girl anymore. *Yawn*

I dont think anyone is proposing she stops having sex, but maybe it would be a good idea to do it in the context of a safe relationship? I know thats probably against your morals!
