Same here! I am tempted to ask someone to film me on my phone deadlifting actually so I can wince at my bad form :)

Afternoon! I decided to go out for a 3 mile run (or plod to be more accurate) after barcode inspired me in his DD thread. Remind me not to copy his ideas. It was tres hot. even without my extra weights it was hard work, an extra min per mile. Oh well at least it got me away from my desk for a bit.

The last few weeks I have found myself working through my dinner...a bad habit I need to get out of.

In other news......I stopped at 2 Lidl stores on my way to work this morning to get a couple of those saw horses Anthony suggested for squatting. Loks like they have changed this weeks offers from DIY stuff to gardening stuff so there was no sign of them.

I do mate.....Got barbell, dumbells, bench. I need to get a few more weights for them especially as I am planning on getting heavier with the squats and hopefully deadlift.

Also got a bike, rower, tradmill and x trainer although the missus tends to use them more than me.

Also got a sandbag from B&Q which is my best bit of kit

Anything you think I am missing?

Got a large garage plus the treadmill and rower fold up so I have plenty of floor space. To be honest I would happily get rid of cardio kit and just use the wiehgts and the sandbag. i can easily get out for a run or on my bike but the missus loves them

Previous garage had a pitched roof with roof beams I could use, think I may have to buy a pull up bar or stop and use a tree when I am out running

You may laugh but when taking my daughter out to various parks I have been checking them out to see if they have monkey bars and had to resist having a go and looking like an idiot in front of all the kids!

I suppose I could run up the slides to get some hill work in as well :-p
