First goal is to remove love handles, podgy stomach and moobs.
Once it’s done, I will move onto bulking up, but till then I’ll try to focus on sliming down as some friendly folks here have recommended.
Age: 29 years.
Weight: 70 kg
Height: 175cm
I will begin with Anthony’s weight loss program, starting with “Starters”.
Will exercise at home. My equipment is: 20kg dumbbell set, 5 in 1 dumbell bench, exercise cycle and chinning bar which I bought today. All York for some reason…
I will do exercises on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and will be doing some running and exercise cycle on Tuesday/Thursday and may be on Saturday as well. I want to do the St Barnabas run in May so running will be good for me.
Why 9 of September 2007? I’ll be turning 30, so if I can get in to decent shape by then it would be a great present to me.
I have been on 1800 calories for a couple of days now. Its ok, but I found it difficult to drink loads of cold water and go for a leak all the time.
Had my first workout yesterday and now most of my weak body hurts, lol.
Will get on exercise bike tonight.
Can somebody please tell me how to measure myself correctly.
What is it you want to measure? Your bodyfat? I think you can do it with calipers or by tape measure by taking your neck and waist measurements. Then you need to find an on line bodyfat calculator that'll work it out for you.
The water's bad isn't it? I keep nipping to the loo too! It's helping keep my hunger in check though which is good!
Anthony has an answer about how you caclulate body fat % using scales or calipers. I use scales, which although not 100% means if I take a reading at roughly the same time every day gives me an idea of where I'm at. Calipers looks like a better idea, I'm considering getting a pair myself! Click!
Yes I want to measure body fat and things like, biceps, chest. Just don’t really now how to do it accurately. Should I just measure the widest parts?
Thanks for the link.

someone else on here mentioned it, just need a tape measure. I measure at the widest part - waist, hips, wrsit and forearm. Seems to be fairly accurate, probably not as good as calipers though
I weighted myself this morning, before breakfast. Then checked the scales and weighted again.
Shows 68 kg... Last time I got on scales was beginning of the week and it was 70kg.
Isn’t it a bit too much of a weight drop?
Whole previous week I did eat pretty healthy. No junk food, plenty of salads, fruits, good balanced meals. This week I stick to the Anthony’s weight loss plan, eating as suggested and doing exercises plus a lot of cold water.
Is it ok or am I doing something wrong?
I expected to loose some weight but 2kg seems a bit steep. Plus my wobbly stomach doesn’t look much better…
