He may be in the money, but don't forget that when it comes time for the Democratic party nomination- it is custom for the challenger(s) to bequeath their unused funds to the winner.
I still have to wonder which America would prefer: A black man or a woman as president. I just do not see the traditional southern voters going for either. Indeed, even the normally liberal California is alleged to be a state "in play" this next time around.
