Hey mate,
I trained in Kyokushin about 10-11 years ago and loved the hard training and etiquette that went with it.
I've been toying with the idea of going back but now I'm 27.
Are clubs happy to accept old dudes??
Do you think its ok to start back in training after all these years?
Albeit at a beginner level...

wow!
kyokushin isnt just about training and kicking ass, its a family. the reason why the same language is used in any kyokushin dojo is so that any kyokushinkai can join any gym.
You should remember all the moves and etiquette but your flexibility will be crappy as well as your power.
But none of that matters nor does your age. What matters is the attitude you bring to the class, your fellow kyokushinkai and your sensei.
And 27 is young, man!!!
You;re so lucky. There aren't any kyokushin dojos near me and I really really miss it.

Yeah there are quite a number of clubs here in Dublin.
Really good ones too. Excellent Senseis.
I suppose I'm just a bit nervous/apprehensive about going back.
I will make some enquires and start back around June when I finish my exams.
I think I'm just thinking out loud....
Cheers mate :-)
