He had no arms or legs. Think its called paraplegic? Anyway, he actually got out the car and tried to get to the casino to find his wife. He was waiting for the bus and, when it stopped, the driver recognised him and said 'Hi Kev, how you getting on?'. - true story.

Casino guards in Iowa found him asleep in a car park with a note saying: "I have a disability. Do not be alarmed. I am resting. Do not call security."
Police, who found Fairbanks at a roulette table, said her husband was left for an hour in - 2C (28F)

Why not arrange for somene to look after him and then go out? Then again, it is Iowa, so this may be normal behaviour.
