I like Lost, in fact I like it a lot but it really annoys me how we have to wait so long inbetween seasons and so they can have interseries breaks. Just read rthis on a fansite...
"In just seven weeks LOST will end its third season with a two hour finale that promises to deliver the series' biggest twists and turns ever. The bad news is, LOST fans will be waiting as many as nine months for new material to follow. Will a fan base as demanding for input as the LOST crowd seems to be, nine months might as well be an eternity. What, if anything, does ABC have planned to keep LOST fans interested?
After the critical lashing of last year's 'The Lost Experience', it would appear that ABC is not considering venturing into the online game category. This doesn't mean that LOST fans won't have anything to keep them busy, however."
9 months is ridiculous!
There's a good chance I'll be starting the next four episodes reviews the same way seeing as its gearing up to the end of the season, *clears throat* OOOOOHHH MYYYYY GAAAAAWWWDDD.
Last night's episode didnt really go towards answering any of the mythos which season three has been quite good at doing. Instead it focused Sun and Jin, my two favouirte characters, and explaining who's baby it really was and the ramifications o that on the island. It was done really well but the format is starting to get stale - I'm getting a little tired of that whooshing sound that precedes a flashback and I think three seasons in, they could try a few more cold starts or, y'know, NOT playnig that sound and letting the world and his dog know we're about to be subjected to a flashback (or flash forward).
It was still very touching, the actress playing Sun, did an amazing job, albiet a little predictable, it was quite moving.
As for Juliet - Ben (not our Ben(der)). Each week it changes, she's with him, she isnt. She's an other, she's an allie. You can pretty much calculate who's sde she'll be on by the last episode.
Patchy is back for some reason too! Seeing him blunder into frame I had a few moments of thinking they might have broadcast the episodes in the wrong order (a la Scrubs) but even Hurley picked up on that and we could all see the drying blood/brains on his ears. Kindalike all us Lost viewers.
And for this weeks final minute cliff hanger: The woman is shocked to hear the news and says that it is impossible for them to be survivors of 815. She explains that, Naiomi "They found the plane, there were no survivors. they were all dead."
Hurley: "What?"

BTW don't want the promo unless you want a previous arc spoiled for you. NBC might be getting a bit too excited in broadcasting this.
TBH, am getting fed up of most of the flashbacks. There doesn't seem to be much left to reveal. Juliet's and Desmond's were good, and the Paolo and Nikki one made a nice change, esp as it was interspersed with events from all three seasons. But I really don't want to see anymore of Jack's life, or Charlie's! Jin and Sun don't seem to have much left in their past either, they keep raking over the same plot over and over.
I hope we get to see some DHARMA initiative people soon too.
That was a really enjoyable episode. I was getting fed up of Jin and Sun, but they managed to sneak something decent in. Not sure how the ending will be resolved. I don't believe they are dead, it doesn;t make sense.
I'm hoping Juliet will change by the end and betray the Others.
