Y'know the minute I posted in chatting I thought..."hang on there has to be somewhere specific to post about birthdays etc"...
and here is the thread! Apologies for the double post, but my birthday seems to have spread over three days at the rate I'm going, surprise football match yesterday and shirt as an added pressie, seeing Mum for lunch now and drinks with mates tonight, and finally the cinema tomorrow, normally I try and go on my birthday but the flick's too long this year. Still! 35 and feel great, and a week off to enjoy it.

Curse of the Golden Flower, the new Zhang Yimou martial arts film - people have moaned about the plot but if the action's anything like Hero, I won't care and I'm not worried that House of Flying Daggers ended up with a storyline you'd normally watch in Eastenders.
I really have to catch up, there's that subtitled WWII flick as well that's not going to be on for much longer, but over the next 10 days that should be plenty of time, I'm not back at work until St George's day now.
