Mansizers - I have been busy in the Mansized Kitchen trying out ideas for quick, cheap, low fat protien bars.

In an ideal world - what would you like to see in terms of cost, flavour and protein content?

Sweet or Savoury for example- chocolate and vanilla or tomato and herb?

I know the gold standard would be "tastes of Snickers" - but any sensible input to guide me would be much appreciated.

Thanks Dudes!

Savoury could be really good. It would make a change.

Is it possible to get a high carb, high protein one for bulking?

something that would be good to take after a session at the gym, instead of shakes.

You could have post gym ones, with a fast release one with a highish GI, and high protein bio-availability, and then slow release one for other times.

I can easily split the carbs between high and low GI Guys :-)

OK so what would your "gold standard" calorie count and protein grammage be please?

Yeah that sounds not bad, i just want it to be more convenient for me to eat while trying to bulk, i.e. after workout, or while out and about and cant get a full on meal.

I'd like to see one around 200cals (but I could always cut a 3rd off)

I'd like them around 15grams of protein and 100 or so calories, so you can have them for extra intake even when cutting, then if you bulking or want it as a snack or post workout you just eat a second bringing you to over 200 cals and 30grams of protein.
