Oooh, might have to grab this, I'm a bit of a NIN fan and have had The Downward Spiral (another concept album) on heavy rotation recently... Good angry workout music, IMO.

Reasonable review there.

It's a pretty good album. A bit different but a step back at the same time. Better than With Teeth anyway.

Got to say, In This Twilight is a grower, it just gets better every time I listen to it.
A couple of scary 80's moments thought.
Capital G has drums that made me think of When the going gets tough and Beginning of the end is very 80's drum-tastic as well.

The Great Destroyer is well worth a listen, quite odd and funky and God Given has such an enjoyable vibe I got caught singing on the train : (

No particularly amazing high point but it has helped me to listen to the whole NIN back catalogue over the last couple of weeks.

Might go out and buy. Been a big NIN fan for about 12 years now. Sorta got into industrial after only listening to bay area thrash from about 10-13.

With teeth was dull though.

#And on a slightly less stupid note..............

With Teeth was indded quite dull.
I seem to remember there was more fuss made about the change of title and art direction than there was over the actual album.

Only is a great track though, very self aware and self depricating.
It was the closest thing he has ever done to cracking a joke.

Yeah, DLed this the other day, it's pretty good actually. Definitely one that you need to listen to a few times, not to say it's shit on first listen but it certainly grows on you a lot.
