It is at least some comfort to know that the Islamic fascist mullahs in Iran are further away from being able to develop nuclear weapons than we had feared (not that the Israelis would tolerate them doing it I suspect).
As recent events with the kidnapping of UK service personnel have demonstrated, the current Iranian regime cannot be reasoned with. It has the typical totalitarian outlook that anything it does must be right, and that whatever it says is true, is in fact true, no matter how patently ridiculous.
The Iranian regime will not be satisfied until it has imposed it's world view on everyone. Like the Nazis and the Communists before them, they are dangerous because they are absolutely convinced they are right, and will stop at nothing to achieve their aims.
This isn't about the West being imperialistic, or trying to deprive Iran of the right to develop nuclear power. It's about trying to stop a bunch of rabid religious zealots who are intent on dragging their own and other societies back into the middle ages.
