This ebay return will cause money to go back out again, but the buyer can damn well wait until the rest of my money comes in, then I'll send her refund postage out.
Thanks to the Guardian at least everyone's thinking about the practical money saving for what they fritter cash on. I think my next purchase will be a solar powered charger (they're all the same whether you buy them from a gadget site or The Guardian's Eco store), that, in the short term at least, should stop me charging the phone at home if it works as well as I hope it will. It's time to attack the lower-level sources of electricity use and if I can knock them out (USB battery charger next), then I'll do it.
