Bladerunner was a good film because it was only loosely based on his novel ... and it doesn't look like lightning is going to strike twice

They were expecting what exactly from a Cage film? Citizen Kane?
The ending is easy to understand and a cop out if you're retarded.
The film is a good laugh and if you are expecting something deeper go to a Japanese Film Premier.
