I was told at class last night that some footage from the WTF World Championships in Beijing is on Eurosport2 at 12:30 today. I also found there's some more coverage tomorrow and Sunday at 16:30.
I don't know how good it will be (and it's the competition/sport not the whole art being demonstrated) but if anyone wants to have a nose it will be on.
Good luck Great Britain!!!!

thanks for the tip off
does it still come on then?
I went to a few WTF competitions.
Some of the fights were pretty boring, but I remember a small stocky bloke who was leathel and entertaining for sure.

Only every so often, but during major championships (such as the recent World Championships) they do a fair bit.
I read recently that it's been upgraded in TV coverage for the next Olympics (from a category D sport to a category C sport - whatever that means) so we should see a lot more next Olympics.

The problem with the TV coverage is that they only normally show the semi-finals and finals where both players are cagey as they've got everything to lose. The earlier fights are normally much more dramatic!
It is top-level competition though (and the re-introduction of a differential points scoring system helps - 1 point for a body kick, 2 points for a head kick and an additional point if the opponent is knocked down and the referee has to count).
