Had mixed reactions when I first shaved my head (trimmer at 0 then shaving cream and razor to finish it off) - about 4-5 years ago

After a while (last year or so), did grade 0 -- mixed reviews

Then grade 2-3 -- better reactions

More recently, grade "long" 0 -- very good reactions and have been doing it this way for a while

I guess it depends on the condition of your hair and the shape/tone of your face?

Shaved my head to a 2 the other week, reminded me how stoopid I looked with a shaved head, it looks a lot better now that it's grown a bit and Dax can mess it up...

Try a number 3 cut and see what you think, then if you're brave, you can go for 2 or 1

It'll grow back, it's not like you're having a tattoo or having a leg off

I'm thinking of shaving my head. I nearly did it a while ago but got grade seven on top and five on the sides. I've let it grow a lot since and coming up to the point where I want it cut again.

Go for it, I'm thinking of going for 7 on top & 4 on the back & sides, then maybe growing it throught the winter

I did seven and five not long ago and I quite liked it. It's short and low maitenance without being 'extreme', i.e going from having medium length hair to having no hair. I may do that again, but really thinking about a grade four all over.

As Gary says earlier on this thread, if you don't like it, it'll soon grow back

Had mine done over the weekend. I pussied out a little & had a 7 on top & 4 around the back & sides. I quite like it but don't think I'll stick with it long term. The main reason I did it was because I couldn't be arsed to style it off a morning, though I stil have to put a bit of gunk on it to defuzz
