probably more to do with the fact their parent company of corporate partners of McLaren. He probably didn't get a lot of say in it!
i think what he's achieved so far is pretty impressive for his debut season. i don't think this hiccup takes anything away from that... no one is infallible.

exactly... as soon as any british sportsman shows the slightest bit of potential, the media pile far too much expectation on them... it sucks.
isn't he officially the most successful F1 debutant?
