Sam Allardyce has cast doubt on his chances of bringing Gabriel Heinze to Newcastle United. We doubt St James' Park is top of his list. What's your view?
I've heard he wants to go to Liverpool. Fergie's said he can't due to them being a threat in the title race but Liverpool say that, as there's a £6 million buyout clause in his contract, if they bid then it's pretty much upto Gabriel.
He did say he would like a move to Liverpool; however, that would be quite difficult. Both teams hate each and will the fans accept someone who plaeyd for the scum, although Houllier did sign Xavier from a club only 200 yards down the road.
They may be clause saying he cannot join a rival club. Hoddle, when manage of Southampton, had a clause saying he could leave if Totthenham or Man Utd approached him.

He won't go to Liverpool. United don't make deals with Liverpool.
As a Newcastle supporter I'd love to see him in a black-and-white shirt. But I really can't see it happening.
If it's true he's been linked with Juventus and R Madrid, then I can see him going to one of those. He's only 29 so has a good few seasons left in him. How old is Roberto Carlos now? He hasn't been that good for years, in fact was he ever that good!?
Sol Campbell (Spurs, Arsenal) - However, Pat Jennings played for both.
Mo Johnston (Celtic, Rangers !!!) - Johnston was supposed to play for a Celtic in a charity game a few years ago, a lot of Celtic fans refused to turn up. They then decided not to include him.
They talk about the rivaly between Real and Barca, but Barca sold Figo to Real and Laudrup played for both.
In addition, Liverpool and Man Utd is different; in terms of number of people who watch this match (stadium and tv), it is biggest domestic club match in world football.
