It is called having a thermostat!
And you seal off all the doors and windows too ?
For a fixed mass of gas at constant temperature the product of pressure and volume is constant? Boyle's gas law?
Now that takes me back !
Aaaarrrrggghh! Don't remind me; I HATE chemistry; PV=nRT used to haunt me! lol

yeah but who re-sets their scales everytime! I suppose digital ones do it themselves but then that wouldnt take into account atmospheric pressurer because Pressure=Force/Area and the area of you is not the same as the area of the scales with which it would make the calibration.
air pressure acts in ALL directions, so unless there is a breeze blowing as you measure yourself then it can be ignored.
just goes to show you can't trust these engineers

Had an early morning gym sesh today, which included a set of 8 baby squats (not proper ones!), but at 140kg, my heaviest yet. I was probably down 2/3 of the way to parallel thighs, but was just pleased to be able to stand up with the weight !
12 x 140 kg proper parallel squats is one of my DD goals.
Shuts added a superset of machine bicep curls and tricep push downs to this routine, so that plus my clean & press makes at a kanckering workout now. I think he thought it was too easy for me as it was. I get no allowance for being old and creaky and having poor flexibility.

Thats serious weight on you're back... I got to 130kg without quite getting to parallel and you really feel it across you're back!

I did say I didnt know anything about the weather n that lark! I am used to using pressure as force/area of somthing physical (like the pressure I weight would impose) on the floor.

How flexible do you need to be you soft bugger?
You are only bending your knees - not wrapping your feet around your head or doing the splits!

If you are doing proper parallel squats, you need hamstring flexibility ;-)
Are you going to be providing video evidence Jimmie?

@ Shuts - I knew I could rely on you not to be impressed ! I'll get there, just you wait and see
@ Gubernatrix - I'm not sure if I would be able to hold a video cam and squat as well ;-).
I do have a plan to prove that I have reached my goals to your and his satisfaction !
