Police find tunnel heading towards a cash line. Don't know anything about who's been digging it or anything. Now, in a case like this, surely you would do a wee bit of surveillance to see, oh i don't know, who turns up to keep digging?!
Naw.
You cordon it off with police tape, probably stick a police incident unit next to it and tell the press all about it. Aye, that'll catch them Sargeant.

yeh, that was a bit stupid. Why not put things back as they were and stick a few cameras in there. Once the people go inside and start digging go round and arrest them.
