Ok,

I know I posted this before but would like a fresh view on it, which one? My mate has just got the PS3 and tbh I do like it, never had a games console before and want one now, just not sure, supposedly the PS3 is more powerful and its full potential is still to be utilised by games.

get a wii for now, for fun and then get a ps3 when the new metal gear and final fantasy come out as well as the motion capture technology. The technology is way ahead of the games. Anyway xboxes tends to melt dont they?

Your wait was not a long one....

PS3... a long term solution to your gaming needs.... it'll be around for a good while and will be getting better and better... but try the "other" thing first if you want, although I hear it sounds like a jet engine in the front room, while the PS3 has a nice little "whir" about it... belaying the power within`!

He sounds like he works for bloody Microsoft..... too negative and not at all impartial... the way forward for yourself is to try them both out see what you like and prefer then look to the future and think what you'll want then...

They're both good but the PS3 is playing catch up.... and it will I am certain of that.

Well no as I have always said try them both and see what you think, other people opinions can help but it's down to the purchaser in the end.

I don't really know much about the games or the consoles, I have played both but still unsure. I do think the PS3 looks nicer! ;)
