anyone done this style of kung fu? I recently moved to cardiff to go to uni there and found the lau gar club to be...well...lets just say not what i thought it was going to be. I left my first kung fu club to move to lau gar for reasons that i found to be true at this cardiff club.
So for the term time im going to be doing shaolin nam pai chuan, and i was wondering if anyone has heard of it?
im not even half as enamoured with it as i was with my home club, but its a damned sight better than the lau gar here!

I havent studied this style of kungfu myself so I went onto their website and had a look (although looks can be deceiving). Some of the excersies do look a bit like other arts that I have studied over the years. It also looks very traditional. Keep us up to date how you are getting on.

I don't know it either Cafers but it's cool that you are keeping the old kungfu going. Good you're at Cardiff too as we discussed ages ago. I like the traditional kungfu style as you know so it sounds really interesting...I too would like to know how you get on.
I hope I will find out more about other traditional styles when I go to Soutrh East China at the weekend......so looking forward to it now.
Look after yourself there anyway, mate.
