I have some stuff, but not in online format, all paper based
In a nutshell, what I have learnt is:
- do not put CV at top: name and contact details are sufficient. DOB, marital status and driving ability are also superfluous
PERSONAL PROFILE
Short paragraph - 3/4 lines. Who you are. What you can do. What you want to do. Include a strong statement of what you do/want to do eg 'Highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Manager with 9 years experience of working for a major UK retail brand'
CAREER HISTORY
Scope of role
Couple of lines to describe key accountabilities of the job
Key achievements
4/5 strong, punchy achievement statements to say what you achieved in the role. Remember CAR format: challenge, action taken, result achieved
QUALIFICATIONS
TRAINING/PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
INTERESTS (if space allows, and if there is something key that could be a pre-interview icebreaker, tho not too wacky, or opinion forming ie staunch Man U supporter - that might turn off a Man City supporting interviewer!)
No need to put salary or reference details on CV, or in application unless specifically asked for
Am currently on draft 7 of mine, and that is before I have even sent it off to anyone! Can email a copy to you when have tweaked it in the morning, if you want a shufty?
