Was it ever goo din the first place. U2 SUCK! I hate them. Hate badly though, not hate as in I hate everything else. I really hate U2. I would rather gouge my eyes out and use them as marbles than listen to anything U2 churn out.

I never rated them until this was released - all that "this is not a rebel song" bollox was so annoying but this was just so far removed from anything they'd done in the past, I loved it.

the moody songs ... With or Without You, Running to stand still, and the last track were/are my faves ... but then again Red Hill Mining Town, Bullet the Blue Sky and Trip Through Your Wires are bloody brilliant as well

The only one I don't really like is "I still haven't found ..." but that may just be familiarity breeding contempt.

Worth every one of it's 5 stars !

I still maintain this is a 1 star album, and suckers will buy it because it has different packaging. Suckers. No wonder the music industry is falling on its arse.

At the end of the day it's still a classic

As usual, a band lasts together for over 20 years and now it's have a pop time because they had something to say once.

U2 are one of those bands my brother got me into, I've got Boy, War and October on tape, Desire the song as a 7" record and the rest on CD, so I kept up with and liked what they were doing.

Since I've already got the Joshua Tree I'd consider this as a gift from someone else given the choice or vouchers.
