Shit, I didn't realise that this had to be done and dusted today, I thought we had til 11th Jan!

Stats

AGE - 26
HEIGHT - 6ft 1/185cm

WEIGHT - 76kgs
BF - 17%

WAIST - 87cm
HIP - 84cm
CHEST - 91cm
BICEP - 29cm/34cm (tensed)
NECK - 39cm

From Ender's MOT, some other useful info:

PEAK FLOW - 630l/min
BP - 142/90
HEARTRATE - 75 BPH

Press-ups in 2 min = 34
Sit ups in 2 min = 35
Cooper VO2 score = 26 (pap!) Should be 36ish

Workout history

In a nutshell, inconsistent would be the word to describe my training history.

For MM07 I got really in to the training groove, and showed to myself that I can be really dedicated to my training. However, it all fell apart over the summer months.

In the autumn I started the Daniel Craig workout plan, as devised by Anthony, and that is what I intend to carry on with this time around.

Goals

For MM08 I have three goals:

- to be consistent in my gym going (again)
- to get my diet sorted out properly, so that what I eat is constructive and compliments my training (Diet log here)
- to get some decent shape to my body, by building some mass and muscle, especially chest/shoulders/back areas (to quote STE, 'to look good naked' is the idea!)

Pictures

As of 7 Jan, 2007 - horrid!

Anyway, I plan to go and get all my stats done by Ender, at his free MOT thingy, and will post a proper plan/intro up tomorrow, as not got time to think about it properly now!

Make sure he keeps his hands to himself! ;-)

This morning I had my MOT thingy with Ender at the gym he works at. He gets top marks for making me run, something that I have not done for years (maybe since school) and for getting me on a treadmill (first time ever!)

I'll update the first post of the thread with my stats in a bit, but everything was pretty much normal, apart from my blood pressure, which was just out of the normal category, but that could have been excitement, or fear (but probs more annoynace at having gone out with odd shoes on! lol). My VO2 max was also cack, but I expect that is down to me never having run for years, and is something for me to work on.

His postural analysis was interesting, as basically I am skew-whiff, with my body sort of twisted in all directions - on the way home I have been wondering if it is to do with the way I sit in the car: normally right hand at 2 o'clock on the wheel and the other either on the gearstick or at about 8 o'clock in the wheel, so I end up in a semi-slouched position as I drive.

I also took some pics yeaterday, but I am not sure whether I am going to post them up yet, or just save them for myself, until the end of the challenge....

Those stats will change pretty dramatically if you do this properly, Ben.

I am quite surprised at the BP, but if the heart rate was 75 it may explain it. Your heart rate is nothing shocking - average is around 72bpm.

Get that VO2 max sorted out though Benny boy! I am not happy with that one bit! 26?!

From now on I ban you from driving! You must be self-transporting!
