Give it a go, but instead of just heaving yourself up through your arms and shoulders, focus also on pulling up through your belly button. Press-ups are a core exercise!

Is the inverted row an alternative to doing chin ups?

I have seen some guys doing it in the gym, using the bar on a Smith set low, and wondered what muscles that are working doing them.

Yeah, more or less. With an underarm grip it works the back and biceps.

early start today so only managed to squeeze in 100 - My brother is getting married at 10.30am and i'm best man

325+100 = 425
