Good car chases? Good car chases? When do you finish the happy pills Ste?
I like Hollywood car chases and I like Hollywood cars that always have an extra gear and are indestructible.
yeh but an Astra??? Im all for suspending believability and running with a film but come on the car chase made the film as about as much quality as Herbie!

The action was pretty good - but each time the film 'rewound' to show the same story again (from a different viewpoint) I'm sure I could hear the whole cinema groan. I found that a tad tedious (sorry)
Vantage Point belongs at home, says Film editor Chris. It's here most of all, in the comfort of your own lounge with a tinny on the go that you'll appreciate just how stupidly entertaining the movie is.
I fisrt saw this film on the plane, and I thought I was missing something- so I sat down again with it on surround sound. Definitely a big-screen movie! That aside, I really did enjoy how moody the film was. The twists were fast coming, and interesting. The only real issue is that I had with the film is I don't buy Quaid as a fit Secret Service officer. He was great in the Big Easy- etc- but I thought he was pushing credulity a bit. I also thought that I would have enjoyed knowing more about the sleeper SS agent- and his motivation.
I also enjoyed the first portion of the film with Sigourney Weaver. She looked so natural- not heavily made up- tough-as-nails- but vulverable. Interesting character.
Location filming was nice as well: I had no idea that we were not in Salamanca---but rather in Mexico City.
