just back from the gym; I was sweating after my warmup sets its soooo hot!

Upped weight on lunges and squats and did more reps on SLDL. Weights are still light (max 5kg dbs for lunges, 17.5kg SLDL, 12kg dbs for squat) but its slow and gradual increases for rehab; the squat weight at the end actually began to feel quite challenging.

Quick bit of work then of out in the sun! :-)

So very true... so damn hot in the gym right now - why cant they up the air con?? I drank 2 litres of water during a 40 min workout yesterday!

Nice on the lunges, they can be tough buggers!

well at the moment I barely feel them; i just feel a bit stuuupid using such light weight. I am not going to failure yet for lower body its a slow gradual process for rehab so I need to give time for my body to adjust by staying at each weight for a couple sessions. Dont want to go taking big leaps and knock back progress.

Gym sesh today; was a pretty good one although trying to get equipment setup etc meant It too nearly 45mins.

Upped the weight on negative chins to BW+12.5kg and got about 10 so happy with that.

Few more reps on close-grip lat-pulldown and lat pulldown drop set even though I thought I wasnt going to break my previous best I did by at l;east a rep on each.

After that the machine row always feels every odd; my back and supporting muscles are nackered so I end up struggling with only 15kg!

Machine flys were upped and hit my higher rep number too although ROM wasnt quite full as one of the cable stacks stuyck a little at teh bottom soi I cut the ROM short a few inches to ensure it was my muscles that causesd failure and not just the sticky cable stack. Machine chest press was ok, didnt get any more reps but then I was pre-fatiqued as I gave it a go with cables before hand but it didnt feel right so moved on.

Bicep curls; somehow I managed 3 extra reps so will head onto 10kg dumbells next time. I'm sure I could manage more but after negative chins, latpulldown tri-set and machine row, they are knackered!

Tricep pushdown upped teh weight to 27.5kg so happy there too.

Off tto physio soon, I think rehab is going well and gradualling upping weights on leg exercises soi hope shes happy with my progress.

Then I'm off home (baking in the car propbably) for an interview near cardiff 2mor which is beginnin g to sound like a really good job and place so will have to prep fully tonight to give it my all,

Thats all from Rich-land

Just seen physio; she was quite happy to sign me off now as long as I keep on doing what I am doing and make a small adjustment to my SLDL technique (as being quite flexible I have a tendancy to over arch my lower back a little).

Thats all good; she said keep in touch if I have questions though which knowing me I no doubt will have a few

She even said my arms looked more muscular :-D

Still be a while before I can properly work my legs though; slow and gradual weight increases are the way.
