Basically I wanna be pretty buff for next years summer holiday uni re-union. The aim is to get to 165-170lbs and stay around 10%BF. Currently somewhere around 151 and 10.6.
Speaking to Anthony, as I've been bulking for ages and my gains are slowing, 3-4 2 week blitzs over the course of the year are all I shall be doing! During these I'll wack up the intensity and frequency of workouts and not be cautious with the calories, with the aim to gain about 2kg. He reckons I should do one 2 week blitz every 12 weeks with the rest of the time maintaining.
So I shall be starting with a 6 week maintenance period and a (shock horror) NON HIT workout based of mainly compound moves, similar to what fishy/phoniex and Ben are doing. I shall update my workout asap.
At 150lbs you are a long, long way from your genetic potential! I agree with changing from hit, but you're not a bodybuilder at near maximum weight. I really struggle to see why you don't just continue bulking.

A number of reasons...
1) Anthony thinks it is the best way to go
2) Even if bulking as usual would allow me to get to my goal, this method will do too, as the amount gained in the blitzs will be enough to even out the periods of maintaining and give a similar net gaion overall.
3) Starting a new job etc I am going to be far busier now and they'll be no doubt lots of nights of poor food and drink, so doing it this way allows me to plan ahead so I can do the blitz weeks during times when I can be completely 100% strict with sleep/diet/workouts etc.
4) And after years of almost contionous bulking, I've almost had enough of the dedication and sacrifices that are neccessary, so a month or so of maintenance inbetween blitzs will allow me to chill a little and then be ready to give 110% during the blitzs.
