So, I made it to the end of the MM08, having managed to add some weight, and lose a bit of my belly, which was noticed by a few of you!
GOALS
The goals this time around are pretty much as they always are with me:
- add some bulk (be good to get to 12.5 stone now, as am hovering around the 12 stone mark)
- be consistent in my gym going (three good sessions a week)
- sort my damn diet out (eat decent stuff, and cut down on the naughty but nice chocs/crips/cake, etc)
In a nutshell, I would like to be able to see the difference in my shape at the end of the challenge, in time for the summer drinkies in Cornwall at the end of June.
STATS
WEIGHT - 80kgs
BF - ?? (no scales/calipers to measure)
I have been doing loads of walking this week, probs in excess of an hour and a half a day in London and Oxford, and have only used the car to drive between the two places, so not been totally inactive, but I feel the need to shift some metal now!
Same here, I've not gymmed it for over a week now, my longest break since last September. It's all good though, my enthusiasm needs to last for 12 weeks so it's doing me some good. I might pop in Sunday for a light session to run through a few things on my new routine :)

But you HAVE been eating lots of cookies!
I think I need help on the diet front :-/
So you're sticking with DC then? At least it should be easy to get back into since you are familiar with it. Just make sure you don't use work as excuse to not go.,
H'ok, the gun has sounded and the race is on, this afternoon has seen the first workout of the DD challenge, which was the chest and back routine.
IN contrast to MM08, I am only going to post a summary of the workout reps/sets/weights at the end of each week, as I think it will be easier that way, and then just do a quick summary of each routine as it happens.
Today's session was good, and it feels great to be back in the gym - I dropped the weights by one increment from the last session, and either completed the same number, or more reps than the last time I did this routine.
DB flyes and IncDB press could deffo have stayed at the same weight, as I struggled to feel my chest working especially in those, compared to the bench press.
