I'm shocked too - what have you done to the real Ben?
Oi, you cheeky mo'f!
It's all about the PMA - well, today - I had a plan, and stuck to it. It might have been different if the traffic had been really bad, or the gym had been heaving, but as it was it worked just fine! :)
I will go on Friday for the next sesh, which is back to the beginning: chest and back.
No, I am not wanting to change my routine, but a couple of weeks ago, I noticed a few guys in the gym using various grips when doing deadlifts, which promoted this question to Anthony.
Today, I tried different grips with each set of deadlifts - first set was just normal overhand grip, and then in the second and third sets I used one over- and one underhand grip (alternating between the left and right sides). It did make a difference - the lifts felt quite different, and I could feel my body working slightly differently too, which meant that I concentrated in a different way. All good.
Now, I need to do something different with my chin-ups. I don't want to break away from doing them completely, but if there is anything I could maybe alter slightly that would help me get a couple of extra reps out, I would be grateful for a pointer!
Might give it a go, but what do you use to get to the top position. The only things that I can thing of in my gym that would be kicking around to stand on are Reebok Steps

Well I use the bar on the assist machine so it has step pads near it. I still have to pull myself up a bit.
I have woken up this morning and my thighs and abs are really hurting, in a good, post-gym way, but it is two sleeps since my last gym session? Are my mind and body playing tricks on me?
