Women lose out on the healing progress compared to Blokes with our 90% less testosterone levels - apparently its a part of the reason we appear to get more knee problems, we get the same number as Blokes , but lack the natural anabolic steroids to heal them as fast.
Thanks PJ - i always knew the knee could cause setbacks along the way, as much as it frustrates me ive had years of it now so getting used to putting up with it!

Had a bit of a funny week, missed the gym on Tues and Weds due to a funeral, work, and exhaustion.. but actually really pleased with todays workout despite that - I didn't feel mentally prepared so thought I wouldn't push it enough, but managed!

Slightly annoyed with chest press -just cant seem to increase it - my left arm's having none of it! Its one of those machines where left and right work independently so finding it really tough on the left... which is probably good really! but annoying...
Plan is to treat today as a new week, and start a 5 day workout cycle from today to get a full week in as i already had 2 days rest this week.
I didn't feel mentally prepared so thought I wouldn't push it enough, but managed!

I find I'm the same, sometimes I can look forward to & gee myself up mentally all day for a workout, then get there & put in a half arsed session. Sometimes I'm totally not bothered about going & put in some major effort :)
