Sorry to hear about your back Foxy- hope the physio can help you.

Women lose out on the healing progress compared to Blokes with our 90% less testosterone levels - apparently its a part of the reason we appear to get more knee problems, we get the same number as Blokes , but lack the natural anabolic steroids to heal them as fast.

Congratulations on the pounds and inches lost :-)

OK... update time..

Had a bit of a funny week, missed the gym on Tues and Weds due to a funeral, work, and exhaustion.. but actually really pleased with todays workout despite that - I didn't feel mentally prepared so thought I wouldn't push it enough, but managed!

Upper Body:

SS - superset/exercise/weight/reps (difference)

SS-Dips/25/12 (same)
SS-Chinup/25/12 (same)
SS2-Dips/20/10 (+1 rep)
SS2-Chinup/20/10 (+2 reps)
SS3-Dips/15and15/6 (-5 assistance)
SS3-Chinup/15/6 (-5 assistance)
Machine Chest Press/20and25/12(+5 weight for half of set)
SS-Machine Chest Press/20/8(-2 reps)
SS-Dbell Flye/8/10 (+1 rep)
Bbell Bent Over Row/20/12 (+2.5kg)
SS-Bbell Bent Over Row/25/8 (+5KG, -2 Reps)
SS-Cable Seated Row/17.5/10
SS2-Dbell rear lateral raise/5/8
SS2-Dbell Front Raise/6/7 (+ 1 rep)
Machine shoulder press/3/8

Slightly annoyed with chest press -just cant seem to increase it - my left arm's having none of it! Its one of those machines where left and right work independently so finding it really tough on the left... which is probably good really! but annoying...

Plan is to treat today as a new week, and start a 5 day workout cycle from today to get a full week in as i already had 2 days rest this week.

Good work FF!

I find I'm the same, sometimes I can look forward to & gee myself up mentally all day for a workout, then get there & put in a half arsed session. Sometimes I'm totally not bothered about going & put in some major effort :)
