Well perhaps I could have worded it better but think we get the point... ;-) My knee has been injured for 2 years now and was only properly diagnosed in October.. so Im LOVING running!
As req for Lardy - hope this is in time matey! I posted some update stats for the 17 may, so Im not going to measure myself again as i usually do that every two weeks and so its a bit soon... have put a weight update though which has reduced slightly - otherwise pls. draw from stats below.. Ive translated them into those funny imperial measurements you lot seem hung up on.. ;-)
24 May
Weight - 60.9KG (134 lbs) - 3.5 lbs since 11 April
Next official stats day is 31st.
Update summary:
Had a couple of setbacks this week with back problems, physio thinks ive irritated a disc, but overall going in the right direction! Getting near to being sub-60KG which in my mind puts me on the home straight.. Been getting some great comments from work colleagues (finally!) and really pleased with how Im starting to look... definately a visible improvement!! Also - somewhat unrelated, but I did my longest continuous run since my knee op' in December with a 13 min run yesterday... very sore but very happy today! :-D Im sure some lunges at the gym will make it feel better..
Cheers Lardy... just been really busy! Im starting a new role at my company soon, so for now Im doing two jobs... last week was just a bit mental!!
So I wont post up my exact workouts from the last week - general summary is that I managed a normal week without interruptions to the workout schedule which was good, and Ive noticed my clothes are fitting WAY better than they have for ages - e.g. a pair of jeans I normally dread washing because they become too tight now don't fit me even straight out of a hot wash! So Im feeling good... and pushing on!
Upper body workout this morning to finish the workout week off - then I have 2 rest days, back at it on Friday with lower body..
The above shows the changes from my last workout - which I didn't post on here, so there have been bigger gains since my last update here - really pleased with todays workout - definitely feeling it now!!
I thought you had'nt made much progress at fiurst gl;ance, when I saw '-' reps.
But then I noticed the upped weights. Good stuff foxy
:-)
What new role are you going to be doing? what do you work as currrently?
Richy
Cheers... :-)
I work at Amazon - in short i work with other retail businesses to help them sell their products on Amazon - ill soon be responsible for that side of the business in our Shoes category (the envy of most women I know!) and looking forward to it - but it is taking up much more of my time than usual - and my hours will be longer, but ill still be able to make my morning gym schedule which is the main thing!
