I think wait a day or so. It could be that she is playing hard to get a bit, or it could be that she wasn’t free last night so didn’t really know what to say. You could analyse the situation until the cows come home!

My suggestion is leave it for two days. If you haven’t heard anything back, call her. Don’t text. If she doesn’t answer LEAVE A MESSAGE suggesting a drink. If she doesn’t call back you have your answer and can and should move on.

I'm not a great fan of chatting on the phone either but faint heart never won fair maiden. I hate it when people don't leave messages.

I think you should be brave and call - it adds to the excitement and the awkward embarrasment is a good feeling too (if the call goes the right way). But, if she anweers it is a good sign, if she doesn't then leave a message - she'll get back to you if she is interested!
Btw, I hate the dating game, and men play just as much with minds as women do!!
