Anyone been on a rampage yet?

I accidently bumped the car in front, he got out and started on me! I kicked his ass, then a passer by joined in so I set about him. Little did I now a police man was walking by! I tried to explain to him that the other guy attacked ME but he was having none of it and started shooting at me lol.

So I stole a car and sped of with 2stars trying to get away, crashed into a dozen pedestrians and then blew myself up as I crashed off a bridge! Brilliant!

I'm getting the hang of the driving now, and the fighting. I forgot about the targeting, have you got the hang of it yet Chris? If you target the guy you are punching you can time your jabs and duck out of the way - it's cool.

I'm finding the camera a bit annoying at times, when driving around corners you don't see the traffic coming around the corner and also when running around it can be a bit jerky. I suppose I will get used to that. Got my first gun last night and have been popping caps in asses!

Just noticed last night you can shoot while driving a car!
Its tough, but its handy.

Me and 2 mates were crusing in some massive fire engine last night.
Another crew done us with an RPG :(
Good fun.

I think I’m doing better at fighting. The targeting system makes things easier, though I still maintain the button response is a tad sluggish. Have you tried driving the Bentley Continental lookalike, STE? It’s great to swing round corners. Rockin’ those handbrake turns!

I got this monday night. I drove to my local tesco's and queued up with about 20 others for a copy - first time i've ever done anything as mad as that.

Would just like to say it is a cracking game, well worth the wait and is literally eye popping in terms of content and visuals.

However, I'm only just getting used to the handling of it. I think niko could be handled a bit better, and also, why the hell have rockstar placed the camera off centre behind the car? I know they wanted people to see mroe of the city by putting the camera closer to the back of it, which is fine, but it was a bit of a ball ache to get used to the camera being off centre. Thankfully you have the free roaming camera to compensate for it

Overall i would give it 4 out of 5. Loses a point for the handling - but only just!

Can't you move the camera out by pressing 'select' (on ps3), or is that not what you mean? The controls in general are a bit 'blah' if you ask me. You're right though, it's still a cracking game.

I know you can zoom the camera in and out, but the car just seems to be placed a little to the right of the screen rather than in the centre of it. Takes some getting used to.
