So did you get some new climbing shoes then get the chance to try them out?

Yeah I got some on saturday afternoon. Unfortunately they didn't seem to have anything in the right size so went to half size smaller than I would like. They seemed ok in shop but on Sunday I was in agony! I'm size 10 in trainers and these are size 8.

Hopefully can break them in :S

BBQ sounds nice! I must nag my parents about getting one yet again...

Alton Towers yesterday... WOO HOO!!

I can imagine it has heaving yerterday. How much is it to get in there nowadays? Been 10 years since I was last there

£35 admission but we had a bogof ticket so not too bad... it was busy but we didn't queue for more than 30 mins for anything and managed to get on all the big rides!!

Oblivion nearly made me cry and Air is just weird!! Rita Queen of Speed was my favourite 0-100mph in 2.5 seconds!!

ouch that has got to hurt your feet. Are you hobbling around today then?

We have one of those chimnea thingys that we cook on. Ideal because you can only really cook for a couple of people on them so if the missus invites loads of people over for tea in the summer I am not forced to a bbq and we end up with takeaways instead!

Our new neightbours move in on Friday......it will be strange as we have had the street to ourselves for 4 weeks now. We have met them a couple of times and they seem ok....at least our house is not detached and we can't have such bad neighbours twice...even my luck isn't that bad

No, doesn't seem to be any permanent damage!

I remember my friend's family had a really nice outdoor brick oven BBQ thingy out in their large garden, they used to have a big BBQ party every year. *sighs*

Oh good luck, were the last lot not so nice then?

I haven't been to an theme park in years! I never really enjoyed going on rides much anyway, tho I'm better with them than I was as a kid. Is the food still insanely overpriced?

I'd not been to Alton Towers for 20 years and wasn't that bothered about going but it was great!!

The food's not that bad price wise but it is V. BAD health wise... there are Burger King, KFC and Pizza Hut franchises and hot dog/burger, baked potato and donut stalls along with mexican and 'Eastern' food?!

The drinks are extortionate though prices include Coke 'from' £2.20 and £1.50 for a bottle of water!!
