What do you mean by max reps, lardass? DO you mean, you set yourself a target of say 10reps , try and do 10 and get 13reps so reduce the assist?

I think with chins you'd progress quicker if you just did as many as you can unassisted. Even if you can only do 2 or 3 at a time.
Without trying I dont imagine I could do any at a slow cadence.
Well this is just my personal opinion and experience, but do them at whatever you could manage. Doing 5 at 2/2 cadence would be better than doing 15 with an assist but slower.
